What we collect

This policy explains what personal information MODU collects, why, and who we share it with. It applies to modu.furniture, the MODU 3D Planner, and orders or enquiries made by WhatsApp, Instagram, email or in person. By using our site or placing an order you agree to it.

Information you give us

• name, phone number, email and delivery address

• order details, Planner designs and design codes

• wall measurements, photos and files you send us

• messages you send through our site, WhatsApp, Instagram or email

• payment details needed to match your payment: payer name, transfer reference, date and amount

• account details, if you create a member account

We do not collect or store card numbers. Payments are made by bank transfer or Whish Money.

• pages viewed, products viewed and items added to the cart

• cookies and similar technologies

Information from our partners

• delivery and assembly confirmations, and payment confirmations from banks or Whish Money

3. How we use it

• to process, produce, deliver and assemble your order

• to contact you about your order, delivery and warranty

• to handle claims, disputes and warranty requests

• to keep accounts and meet legal and tax obligations

• to prevent fraud and misuse of our site

• to improve our products, our site and the Planner

• to send you offers and news by email, WhatsApp or SMS

• to measure and target our advertising, including on Meta and Google

You can stop marketing messages at any time by replying STOP or emailing us.

4. Photos of your installation

Our team may photograph your delivered and assembled product to document the work and for warranty records. We may use photos of the product in our marketing, without your name, address or face. Tell us at any time if you do not want this, and we will not use them or will remove them.

Sharing and storage

5. Who we share it with

• our production, delivery and assembly partners, for your order

• service providers that run our site, Planner, messaging, email, analytics and advertising, including Wix, Netlify, Meta and Google

• banks and Whish Money, to confirm payments

• our accountants, auditors and legal advisers

• public authorities and courts, when the law requires it or to protect our rights

• a buyer or successor, if the business or part of it is sold or restructured

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Where it is stored

Our service providers store data on servers outside Lebanon. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to that transfer.

7. How long we keep it

We keep order, payment and warranty records for as long as needed for your order and warranty, and for the period required by Lebanese accounting, tax and commercial law. We keep marketing contact details until you opt out. After that we delete or anonymise the data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies that make the site, cart and account work. We also use analytics and marketing cookies. You can refuse non-essential cookies in the cookie banner or in your browser. Some features may not work without cookies.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No website or transmission is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential. We are not liable for unauthorised access that is outside our reasonable control.

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to marketing. Email info@modu.furniture. We may ask you to confirm your identity and we reply within a reasonable time.

We may keep information we need to complete an order, honour a warranty, meet a legal obligation or defend a claim.

Our site is not intended for anyone under 18. Orders must be placed by adults.

12. Other websites

Our site links to other services, such as Instagram and WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. The version published on modu.furniture applies from the date shown below.

14. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Lebanon. Disputes go to the courts of Beirut.
